Lead Change That Creates Lasting Impact Vision Australia is embarking on a transformation journey to deliver greater impact for people who are blind or have low vision. We are seeking four experienced and strategic Program Leads to join our Strategy Implementation Team (SIT) and lead the delivery of key enterprise-wide initiatives that will shape the future of our organisation. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, you will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into practical, sustainable outcomes. You will lead complex, cross-functional programs that improve client outcomes, strengthen organisational capability, enhance service delivery, build strategic partnerships, and support long-term sustainability.

About The Role

As a Program Lead, you will drive the design and implementation of strategic initiatives across Vision Australia, working collaboratively with executive leaders, operational teams, subject matter experts and external partners. You will lead one of our four strategic imperatives: Impact-led Organisation, Connected Services, Smarter Systems, Ageing Well, Organisational Sustainability.

You will

- Lead enterprise-wide transformation programs from strategy through to implementation and operational handover.
- Develop program roadmaps, business cases, implementation plans and benefits realisation frameworks.
- Coordinate initiatives across service delivery, operations, finance, technology, people and culture, governance and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes, organisational performance, efficiency, sustainability and impact.




- Lead change management activities to support successful adoption and long-term benefits.
- Develop and monitor program budgets, risks, milestones and performance measures.
- Build strong partnerships with government, community, health, aged care, disability and commercial organisations where appropriate.
- Ensure initiatives align with Vision Australia's commitment to accessibility, quality, client outcomes and organisational values.

About You You are a highly capable transformation or program leader with experience delivering complex organisational change in human services, healthcare, disability, aged care, not-for-profit, government or similarly regulated environments.

You will bring

- Significant experience leading large-scale transformation, strategic programs or organisational change initiatives.
- Strong program and project governance expertise, including planning, risk management and benefits realisation.
- Commercial and financial acumen, including business case development, investment analysis and performance measurement.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to lead through collaboration rather than formal authority.




- Experience working across multiple functions and balancing competing priorities.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and executive-level presentation skills.
- A commitment to client-centred service delivery and achieving meaningful social impact.
