Be the friendly first point of contact for visitors, shaping memorable experiences and promoting the Alpine Shire as a must-visit destination.

Contribute to a vibrant, tidy and well-presented Visitor Information Centre that reflects our community pride.

Play a key role in day to day operations - respond to enquiries, process sales and maintain displays and visitor data.

Be part of team that provides exceptional visitor services at the Visitor Information Centre in Myrtleford or Mount Beauty.

Support our wonderful volunteer Alpine Ambassadors at the Visitor Information Centres.

Our Ideal Candidate

Is passionate about the Alpine region and enjoys sharing your recommendations and extensive knowledge with others.

Has a genuine customer-first mindset, with a courteous and professional approach to engaging with diverse visitors.

Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting volunteers, while also being confident working independently when required.

Is adaptable and has flexibility to work across a 7-day roster.

Experience as a volunteer, (Alpine Ambassador) or experience with Visitor Information services, is highly regarded

Valid Driver Licence

Cash handling experience and confident with EFTPOS transaction

Band 3 Alpine Shire Council Enterprise Agreement.

Band 3A hourly rate: $33.75 per hour + Leave Loading + Super.
