Total Auto Centre in Brighton, VIC is seeking an exceptional individual to take on this full-time role and lead our team of skilled technicians. As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring exceptional customer service and the highest standards of quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

- Managing and overseeing the workshop team, including scheduling, training and performance management
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
- Providing technical guidance and support to the technician team
- Maintaining workshop efficiency and productivity targets
- Liaising with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates
- Monitoring and maintaining workshop equipment and tools
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Contributing to the development of workshop policies and procedures

About you





- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Workshop Manager or similar senior role in the automotive industry
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technical teams
- In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in using workshop management software
- Relevant trade qualifications and certifications
