St John of God Midland Public Hospital we provide a comprehensive range of services including emergency medicine, critical care, day chemotherapy, paediatric care, aged and stroke care, maternity and general surgery. Our 307-bed public hospital is operated under a public-private partnership between the State Government and St John of God Health Care. We offer a wide range of public health care services for people in Midland and surrounding communities. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, public maternity care, Aboriginal pregnancy and maternity support through Moort Boojari Mia, acute mental health treatment and medical and surgical care.
About the role
Are you an experienced Physiotherapist ready to take the next step in your leadership career? St John of God Midland Public Hospital is seeking a dynamic Physiotherapy Team Leader to lead our Outpatient Physiotherapy Service. In this pivotal role, you will combine advanced clinical expertise with people leadership, coordinating and supervising physiotherapy services while ensuring excellence in patient care, service quality, and evidence-based practice. Working closely with the Physiotherapy Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide advanced clinical services for complex patient presentations, support the development of clinicians, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. As a senior clinician and leader, you will foster a culture of collaboration, professional growth, patient‑centred care, and caregiver engagement, ensuring services align with the values, mission, and standards of St John of God Health Care.
Essential skills and experience for this opportunity
- Extensive clinical physiotherapy experience,
ideally within outpatient settings.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
- Advanced clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA and a strong understanding of professional standards and ethics.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: $146,043 to $151,335 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
Permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week
