Paediatric Physiotherapist - Clinical Manager

About the role

This is a genuine clinical leadership position combining paediatric clinical work with dedicated time to lead people, develop services and help shape where Just for Kids goes next. You'll continue to treat your own paediatric caseload because staying connected to the clinical work matters when leading a clinical team. The balance between clinical and leadership work will flex depending on the needs of the team and service - but management isn't something expected to be squeezed into your lunch break.

Key responsibilities

- Supervising and mentoring physiotherapists and physiotherapy aides
- Supporting clinicians with complex cases and clinical decision-making
- Running clinical in-services, case discussions and internal training
- Helping clinicians develop professionally and perform at their best
- Creating and improving clinical pathways and models of care
- Monitoring the quality of patient journeys, clinical outcomes and service delivery
- Helping onboard and train new clinicians
- Working alongside the Director and wider leadership team on the direction of the clinic
- Meeting with paediatricians, GPs, allied health professionals and other key stakeholders
- Building and nurturing referral relationships

About you

- 5+ years' experience as a Physiotherapist
- At least 2 years' private practice paediatric physiotherapy experience
- Strong independent clinical reasoning and caseload management
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Working With Children Check
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
- Excellent and experienced clinician first and foremost
- Natural leader who thinks about how to do things better




- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and having difficult conversations (plus demonstrated experience doing it)
