- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
- Minimum 1–3 years of engineering or site support experience in renewable energy projects, preferably involving battery energy storage, solar PV, wind farm, or grid integration systems.
- Strong understanding of: Battery energy storage system architecture, Inverter and PCS integration
- Experience in any of the following areas is highly regarded: Plant Power Controller (PPC) functional design or integration, Energy Management System (EMS) architecture and logic implementation, Grid connection process, including GPS preparation, R1/R2 hold point testing, and AEMO/NSP coordination
- Familiarity with tools such as: Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 for schedule tracking, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat Pro for markups and drawing reviews, SharePoint / Teams / Confluence for collaborative project documentation.
- Hands-on experience with testing/commissioning procedures, especially R1/R2 hold point testing or grid compliance reporting is highly valued.
- Robust interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is essential. Mandarin language skills are highly regarded, especially for coordinating with Trina’s global R&D; and engineering teams, but not mandatory.
