AgeTech Leadership Labs is looking for a highly analytical and research-oriented intern to help consolidate and validate our Digital Usability Score (DUS) — a framework designed to better understand and measure digital usability among older adults. Its a remote Internship project and we are location agnostic.
This internship is ideal for someone with a strong background in research, psychology, UX/UI, science, growth & strategy, sociology, or related disciplines, and who is interested in turning research into a tangible, evidence-based framework.
What you’ll be working on
You will play a key role in taking the Digital Usability Score from framework to research-backed measurement tool. Your work will involve:
- Designing and refining surveys to test and measure the dimensions underpinning the Digital Usability Score.
- Deploying surveys and collecting primary data from relevant participants.
- Analyzing and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative findings to identify meaningful patterns and insights.
- Evaluating the extent to which the research supports, challenges, or requires refinement of the existing DUS framework.
- Translating findings into clear, evidence-based recommendations for the development of the Score.
- Contributing to the development of a research white paper documenting the methodology, findings, insights, and implications of the Digital Usability Score.
We’re looking for someone who
- Has a strong research background, whether through academic research, previous internships,
independent projects, or coursework.
- Is confident working with surveys, primary research, data, and research literature.
- Can synthesis large amounts of information into transparent, structured insights.
- Thinks critically about research methodology, evidence, and the limitations of findings.
- Has an interest in human behavior, digital usability, user experience, or strategy.
- Can communicate research findings clearly in both written and visual formats.
- Is proactive, intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a research project.
Relevant backgrounds
We are particularly interested in candidates studying or with experience in: Psychology · UX/UI · Growth & Strategy · Sociology · Research · Data/Analytics · or related disciplines
You do not need to come from one of these disciplines — what matters most is that you can demonstrate strong research ability and genuine interest in the problem we are trying to solve.
How to apply
Please email
[email protected] with:
- Your resume/CV
- Three bullet points outlining why you believe you are a strong fit for this internship.
Your three points should be specific to this role — tell us about the research experience, skills, projects, or perspective you would bring to the development of the Digital Usability Score.
We’re looking for someone who is excited not just to research a problem, but to help build something from that research.
