We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing renewable energy organisation based in Sydney, supporting the delivery of major utility-scale energy projects across Australia. This role will suit someone coming from a strong EPC delivery background who understands how projects are built, can confidently manage contractors and stakeholders, and has solid exposure to the electrical and construction elements of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage renewable energy projects from pre-construction through construction, commissioning and handover.
- Lead project planning, programme, budget, risk and overall delivery performance.
- Manage EPC contractors, consultants, suppliers and key project stakeholders.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
- Coordinate technical, commercial and construction interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project schedules, progress reporting, variations, claims and contractor performance.
- Work closely with engineering, grid, commercial, development and asset management teams.
- Identify project risks and proactively manage issues that could impact programme, cost or quality.
- Support commissioning,



energisation and project handover into operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and external project partners.

Required Experience

- Proven Project Management experience delivering utility-scale renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong preference for candidates coming from an EPC contractor environment.
- Strong construction delivery experience with a good understanding of electrical infrastructure and project interfaces.
- Demonstrated experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors and consultants.
- Robust understanding of project programmes, budgets, contracts, risk and commercial management.
- Comfortable working across both technical and commercial project issues.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project interfaces and drive contractors toward key delivery milestones.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across site, design and client teams.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.
