About the Role

KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Planner to join an upcoming long-term project on a 2:2 Roster.

Reporting to the Construction Manager and National Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating project schedules using Primavera P6 to support the successful delivery of project works. Working closely with project controls, site supervision and project leadership teams, you will drive schedule performance through accurate progress tracking, resource planning, forecasting, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain project baseline schedules in Primavera P6 in line with project and contractual requirements.
- Update schedules with progress data and monitor project performance against baseline targets.
- Analyse schedule variances and implement schedule revisions to maintain project delivery objectives.
- Prepare and maintain Four-Week Look Ahead (4WLA) schedules to support operational planning.
- Produce weekly schedule performance reports and project status updates.
- Generate resource histograms to support workforce planning, mobilisation and accommodation forecasting.
- Identify schedule risks, critical path impacts and recovery opportunities.
- Support change management processes, including assessment of schedule impacts.
- Assist commercial teams with variation and claims support through schedule analysis.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
- Drive schedule compliance and accountability across site teams and subcontractors.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and planning analysis as required.

What We're Looking For





- Minimum 3 to 6 years' experience in a planning or scheduling role within construction, mining, resources, infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills, including baseline development, progress updating and resource loading.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project schedules on multidisciplinary or shutdown projects.
- Strong understanding of schedule performance measurement, forecasting and project controls principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality reports and planning analysis.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirables

- Experience working on shutdown or turnaround projects.
- Experience with resource histograms, workforce planning and accommodation forecasting.
- Exposure to KPMS, OPMS or similar project controls systems.
- Understanding of WHS legislation and safe work practices within industrial environments.
