About the role
As Property Operations Supervisor, you will lead the coordination of maintenance and facilities services across the College and associated properties. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff and contractors, coordinate maintenance programs, support asset management and contribute to the long-term functionality and presentation of College facilities. The role includes occasional travel to remote locations, participation in an on-call roster and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the ongoing improvement of the College environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the Property and Facilities team
- Coordinate daily work schedules, priorities and resources
- Provide coaching, mentoring and technical guidance to team members
- Act as delegated department leader in the absence of the Property Services and Facilities Manager
- Coordinate preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance programs
- Ensure maintenance requests are prioritised and completed efficiently
- Oversee fleet servicing, maintenance and compliance
- Support grounds, landscaping and outdoor facility operations
- Coordinate emergency and after-hours maintenance responses when required
- Assist with planning and delivering major maintenance works during school holiday periods
About you
- Demonstrated experience in facilities, property, maintenance and/or operational management
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, asset management and facility operations
- Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- Trade qualification or relevant facilities/property management qualifications will be highly regarded
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and National Criminal History Check
