As a Mechanical Fitter you will maintain, service, and overhaul the heavy industrial pump assets, treatment facilities, and dam infrastructure that supply bulk drinking water.

What You'll Do

- Strip, rebuild, and commission large-scale centrifugal, split-case, deep-bore, and chemical dosing pumps.

- Perform laser alignments, mechanical seal replacements, bearing fits, and gearbox reconditioning.

- Conduct preventative maintenance, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring across water treatment plants and pump stations.

- Rapidly diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures to keep critical infrastructure online.

- Service, modify, and fit high-pressure control valves and associated pipe networks.

About you

- Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner / Machinist) or similar





- Proven track record maintaining heavy pumps, rotating equipment, and hydraulic systems.

- Commitment to strict WHS protocols, risk assessments, and secure working procedures in high-risk environments.
