You’ll play a key part in protecting public health and the workplace across the City of Stirling. You’ll report to a Senior Environmental Health Officer and collaborate with a vibrant, high-performing team where you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage public and environmental health risks and compliance.
- Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess applications and ensure legislative compliance.
- Conduct inspections, investigations and technical assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and regulatory documentation.
- Undertake environmental monitoring and compliance sampling.
- Prepare evidence, reports and enforcement recommendations.




- Represent the City in legal proceedings when required.
- Mentor and develop students and compliance professionals.

We’re looking for an Environmental Health Officer to join us on a permanent basis with a passion for preventative health and community wellbeing. You’ll ideally bring:

- High-level knowledge of Environmental Health principles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong decision-making and judgement
- Authorised person under Environmental Protection Act (Desirable)
- Local Government experience (Desirable)
