Purpose The Quality Systems Manager owns and continuously improves Plan Group's quality management systems and the platforms that run them.
As Plan
Group grows across its Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Queensland and Current South Wales branches, this role gives quality systems dedicated, full-time ownership, driving consistent quality practice, strong project controls and reliable compliance with ISO 9001. Working hand in hand with the delivery teams, the role keeps quality systems simple, usable and genuinely embedded in how Plan Group builds.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System Ownership
- Take ownership of Plan Group's ISO 9001 quality management system, progressively deepening responsibility for certification, audit readiness and continuous improvement.
- Develop, review and maintain quality procedures so they keep pace with how the business is changing.
- Drive consistent quality practice across all branches, embedding one Plan Group standard and reducing divergence between teams.
- Prepare and maintain quality evidence so it is accurate, current and ready ahead of internal and external audits.
Systems & Platform Ownership
- Own the configuration, workflow design, integration, user adoption and ongoing administration of Plan Group's quality platforms, beginning with Procore and Procure Pro and extending to further platforms as they are adopted over time.
- Lead platform rollouts end to end, from configuration and integration through to training and user adoption.
- Drive Procure Pro to completion and keep momentum on platform improvements.
- Always look for ways to make systems simpler and easier for teams to use, never at the expense of compliance.
Project & Quality Controls
- Embed practical quality controls into project delivery, working closely with project delivery teams (project managers, contract administrators and project coordinators).
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality processes, documentation discipline and platform use.
- Monitor quality performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations to the HSEQ Manager.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Partner with the HSEQ Systems Manager so safety and quality systems stay aligned, coordinated and mutually supportive.
- Identify and progress quality improvement initiatives that lift consistency and reduce rework across the business.
- Champion a culture where issues are raised directly and fixed, not walked past.
Attributes & Qualifications
Education
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management or a related field, or equivalent operational experience.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems (formal quality audit methodology to be developed in the role).
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Experience
- Strong operational experience in a construction, fit-out or infrastructure delivery environment, such as senior contract administration.
- Hands-on experience using Procore and Procure Pro in day-to-day project delivery.
- Demonstrated understanding of contract compliance, documentation discipline and quality outcomes.
- Experience leading or supporting system rollouts and user adoption desirable.
