We are looking for candidates who have 5 – 10 years’ experience working within brownfield rail projects (QR, Aurizon, Inland Rail, and ARTC Networks) who can demonstrate strong leadership, coordination, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement, safety, quality, and compliance in a fast paced and operationally critical environment.
Your day-to-day activities will include:

- Plan and deliver construction and maintenance projects, including scoping, budgets, scheduling, WBS, risk management and project controls. Advanced MS Project competency required.
- Coordinate rail shutdowns and track possessions, including planning, T-minus applications and interfaces with clients and Tier 1 Contractors.
- Provide strong safety leadership, ensuring risks are proactively managed and safety, environmental, quality, cost and engineering requirements are met.
- Develop and review technical reports, engineering standards, procedures, work instructions and project documentation, including ITPs, method statements, site records and audits.
- Provide technical advice, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement across track, civil and rail systems projects.
- Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and delivery of contractual and commercial requirements.
- Lead planning activities, coordinate project dependencies and gain stakeholder buy-in while supporting and mentoring team members.
This is an opportunity to grow your career, gain exposure to major projects, and develop leadership skills as part of the pioneering project management and delivery rail systems-centric team in QLD and NSW, while contributing to the east coast’s big build in critical rail infrastructure through to the next decade.
