The Prospect – Regional Operations Manager, West Pilbara

We’re seeking a passionate and strategic leader to step into the role of Regional Operations Manager, West Pilbara. Based in Karratha, this role will lead the delivery of disability and community services across the region, guiding a large and diverse team while ensuring services are person-centred, high quality, and aligned with EPIC’s values and strategic direction.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be supported by an experienced management team, while also maintaining connection with participants, families, and the community.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Leading and empowering a dedicated workforce of over 50 staff (direct and indirect reports).

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the EpiCentre site, ensuring it runs smoothly and provides a welcoming and professional environment.

- Managing service delivery, referrals, onboarding, transitions, and exits.

- Ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, quality frameworks, and EPIC policies.

- Authorising NDIS quotes and managing participant funding plans.

- Overseeing Support Coordinators and ensuring effective coordination of participant supports.

- Building trusted relationships with clients, families, stakeholders, and community partners.

- Handling informal complaints with care, professionalism, and a solutions-focused approach.

- Supporting and developing team members through clear performance goals and reviews.





- Reporting on outcomes that contribute to EPIC’s Strategic Plan.

- Collaborating across EPIC’s leadership team to strengthen services across the Pilbara.

- Maintaining a practical connection to frontline services through occasional participant support.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have:

- A Diploma or Degree in Community Services, Disability, Management, or related field.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the disability or community sector.

- At least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.

- Strong understanding of the NDIS and service quality standards.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people leadership skills.

- A collaborative, culturally aware, and person-centred approach.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- A current WA ‘C’ Class driver’s licence.

Desirable:

- Previous experience in a similar Regional or Operations Manager role in disability services.
