About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Regional Tyre Fitter / Controller to take ownership of tyre operations across our fleet of school buses, route buses, coaches and mini buses.

This is a hands-on role combining tyre fitting, preventative maintenance, stock control and performance monitoring, with responsibility for supporting multiple depots and responding to on-road tyre issues when required.

You’ll play an important role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable and available for the communities we serve.

What You’ll Do

- Fit, repair, rotate and replace heavy vehicle tyres across multiple depots
- Coordinate and respond to on-road tyre breakdowns
- Monitor tyre wear, identify trends and investigate abnormal wear
- Manage tyre stock, ordering and preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintain equipment, support workshops and ensure responsible tyre disposal

What We’re Looking For





- Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitter; bus experience highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of tyre wear, maintenance and fitting practices
- Experience with stock control and working across multiple locations
- Solid problem-solving, organisation and communication skills
- A proactive approach to safety, quality and fleet reliability

Working Conditions

This is a multi-site, hands-on role involving workshop, outdoor and mobile work.

The position requires travel between depots and may involve early starts or occasional response to tyre breakdowns.

Essential Requirements To apply, you must have:

- Current Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR)
- Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) issued through Services Victoria
