We are seeking a highly driven BMS Project Manager / Project Engineer to deliver best in class automation, controls and energy-efficiency solutions across all major sectors construction and refurbishment projects.

About the role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of BMS projects, including engineering, programming, commissioning and client handover. Key responsibilities
- Managing BMS projects from concept to completion
- Coordinating with builders, mechanical contractors, consultants and electrical trades
- Developing BMS design documentation, control strategies and schematics
- Engineering, programming and integrating field devices, HVAC equipment and third-party systems
- Overseeing onsite installation, testing and commissioning
- Managing timelines, budgets and variations
- Ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client specifications
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting and client training
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and project partners
About you
- 3–5+ years' experience in BMS, HVAC controls or building automation
- Knowledge of open-protocol systems (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LON or similar)
- Experience with major BMS platforms (Schneider EcoStruxure, Tridium/Niagara and Optergy is a plus)
- Strong engineering, diagnosis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management ability
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and control schematics
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Electrical trade qualification, engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience with multi-vendor environments
- Work on major commercial, hospitals and government infrastructure projects
