Ozcare has a permanent part-time opportunity available for dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at our beautiful Noosa Heads Aged Care Facility working the Night Shift Rotation.
As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care that supports the health, wellbeing and dignity of our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working within a supportive and values-driven organisation.
Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a leadership role in the delivery and coordination of resident care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and delivering person-centred nursing care in line with contemporary aged care practice
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing, implementing and reviewing individualised care plans
- Providing case management and ongoing evaluation of resident outcomes
- Supporting AN-ACC documentation requirements and contributing to funding-related assessments
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with legislative and professional standards
- Providing clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants
- Monitoring, documenting and reporting changes in residents' health status and care needs
- Collaborating with residents, families, general practitioners and the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive care outcomes
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and promoting best practice clinical care

Role Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR Certificate (or recognised equivalent - BLS/ALS valid within past year)
- Current National Police Check (valid within the past three years)
- Current Influenza vaccination and at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination
- Demonstrated competence in contemporary nursing practice
- Aged Care, Hospital or Community Health experience will be highly regarded
- Sound clinical assessment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience supervising and supporting care staff
- Positive computer literacy and confidence using electronic clinical documentation systems
- Willingness to develop and strengthen AN-ACC knowledge and capability
- Availability and willingness to work night shift is essential. Must have availability to work a recurring roster of Tues/Wed/Thurs (22:00pm-06:30am)
