As our next Reliability &
- Maintenance Engineer - Mobile Fleet, you'll play a key role in maximising the performance and reliability of our mobile fleet and associated assets. Working closely with maintenance and production teams, you'll develop and optimise maintenance strategies that improve equipment availability, extend asset life and deliver sustainable cost efficiencies.
This is a high-impact role where you'll apply your technical expertise to solve complex challenges, lead continuous improvement initiatives and support long-term capital planning. What You’ll Be Doing
Reliability &
- Asset Performance
- Develop and optimise maintenance strategies for mobile fleet assets
- Improve asset reliability using reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), FMEA and root cause analysis methodologies
- Identify performance improvement opportunities that increase equipment availability and extend asset life
- Lead and support investigations into equipment failures and recurring issues
Planning &
- Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain long-term maintenance plans aligned with operational objectives
- Support budgeting,
forecasting and capital planning activities for mobile assets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, reduce costs and improve maintenance effectiveness
Collaboration &
- Leadership
- Partner closely with maintenance, production and technical teams to deliver practical solutions
- Coach and mentor team members in reliability and asset management practices
- Contribute to safety planning initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across the site

You'll Bring
- Engineering qualifications or a relevant trade background
- Experience in reliability engineering, maintenance planning or maintenance leadership roles
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
- Experience working with maintenance systems such as SAP CMMS
- Knowledge of mobile fleet maintenance and asset management practices
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Highly Regarded
- Experience in mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or large-scale industrial environments
- Exposure to reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis
