Steamatic is looking for a Casual Restoration & Cleaning Technician to join our Bendigo team, working approximately 24–25 hours across three full days per week.

You don't need restoration experience.

If you're a valuable cleaner, reliable, comfortable dealing with customers and keen to learn something new, we can teach you the restoration side of the role.

What Does the Role Involve?

When homes and businesses are affected by water, fire, mould or other property damage, Steamatic helps get them back to normal.

You'll work alongside our restoration team carrying out a mix of cleaning, restoration and remediation work across residential and commercial properties.

Your work can include

- General and specialist cleaning

- Cleaning and restoring contents

- Carpet cleaning

- Assisting with water-damaged properties

- Fire and smoke cleaning





- Mould remediation work

- Setting up and moving restoration equipment

- Working across different customer sites

- Following site and safety procedures

- Providing friendly and professional customer service

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in people with experience in:

- Commercial cleaning

- Industrial cleaning

- Carpet cleaning

- Property cleaning

- Hotel or accommodation cleaning

- Facilities cleaning

- Specialist cleaning

Previous restoration experience would be great, but it's not essential.

More importantly, we're looking for someone who:

- Takes pride in doing a excellent job

- Is reliable and has a strong work ethic

- Has good attention to detail

- Is comfortable working with customers

- Enjoys practical, hands-on work

- Is physically capable of an active role

- Has a current driver's licence

- Is willing to learn and develop new skills
