Retail Assistant

QA Bathroom Warehouse is looking for a friendly, reliable Retail Assistant to join our busy Malaga showroom. You'll be the first point of contact for customers — helping them find the right products, processing sales, and keeping the showroom looking sharp. We're a family-owned bathroom, kitchen, laundry and commercial product supplier stocking over 29 leading Australian brands including Caroma, Meir, Phoenix, Nero, Fienza, Timberline and ADP, supplying homeowners, renovators, builders and commercial projects across Perth from our Marshall Road showroom.

About the role

We're looking for a Sales Consultant to join our showroom team. You'll work with a mix of retail walk-ins, renovators, and trade and builder accounts — helping customers select the right products for their project, preparing quotes, and following jobs through from enquiry to delivery. The role also includes quoting larger commercial and multi-residential projects, so there's genuine variety and room to grow your product knowledge across a wide range of brands.

Key responsibilities

Assist showroom customers with product selection across bathroom, kitchen, laundry and commercial ranges

Prepare accurate quotations for retail customers, trade accounts and commercial projects

Follow up quotes and enquiries to close sales and keep jobs moving





Build ongoing relationships with builders, plumbers and repeat trade customers

Maintain records of quotes, orders and customer interactions in our point-of-sale and quoting systems

Liaise with suppliers on availability, lead times and product specifications

Keep product knowledge current across our brand range through supplier training

What we're looking for

Sales experience in bathroom products, plumbing supplies, tiles, building materials or a related trade-retail environment (strongly preferred)

Confident communicator who can build rapport with both retail customers and tradies

Accurate with quoting and comfortable managing multiple jobs at once

Self-motivated and reliable — able to run your own pipeline without hand-holding

Comfortable with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale/quoting systems

Available to work a weekday roster plus rotating Saturday mornings (showroom trades Sat 9–2)

Knowledge of bathroom fixtures, tapware or the renovation industry is a solid advantage
