Be part of something new at City Beach Eastland!

Our brand-new City Beach Eastland store is opening in November 2026, and we're looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor / Visual Merchandiser to join our opening team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in bringing our brand-new store to life, working alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to establish the store's culture, visual standards and customer experience from day one.

As a Retail Supervisor / Visual Merchandiser, you'll combine your passion for visual merchandising, customer experience and people leadership to create an engaging and commercially successful store. You'll lead from the front, support daily operations and ensure the store consistently reflects the City Beach brand while delivering on key business objectives.

This is more than just a leadership role – it's an opportunity to help shape the look, feel and success of a brand-new City Beach store from the very beginning.

What you'll be doing

- Work closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to establish and maintain the visual direction of the new store.

- Execute Visual Merchandising guidelines, floor layouts, product placement and promotional campaigns to maximise sales and create an engaging customer experience.

- Maintain high standards of shopfloor presentation, ensuring product is merchandised accurately,



commercially and in line with City Beach standards.

- Support the launch of new ranges, promotions and seasonal campaigns.

- Regularly review the shopfloor and make recommendations to improve visual presentation and sales opportunities.

- Lead from the front by delivering an exceptional customer experience and demonstrating strong product knowledge.

- Run shifts as required, including opening and closing the store, cash handling and maintaining store security.

- Provide effective leadership on days where you are required to run a shift, ensuring team members receive appropriate feedback, support and training.

- Support the leadership team in achieving store KPIs across Sales, People, Audit & Compliance, Visual Merchandising and Wages.

- Support stock movement, replenishment and organisation to maximise sales and minimise shrinkage.

- Assist with maintaining high standards across the shopfloor and stockroom.

- Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members as part of the Eastland opening team.

- Assist the store leadership team with assigned tasks and initiatives in line with business and departmental expectations.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a retail, customer service or visual merchandising role.

- Experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.

- A solid eye for visual presentation, styling and commercial merchandising.

- Passion for fashion, surf, skate, streetwear and the City Beach brand.





- Strong understanding of how Visual Merchandising can influence customer experience and sales.

- Strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

- Ability to lead, coach and support a team.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and confidently manage competing priorities.

- An energetic, enthusiastic and hands-on approach to store operations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
