Minimum eligibility requirements:

- Full working rights in Australia*
- Completing at least a bachelor’s degree at an Australian University
- Graduated 2024 or 2025 or graduating in 2026.

About the Program





Our graduate program is designed to support students as they transition from study to work. With support from a dedicated team, you will build relationships with peers and experienced leaders, develop technical skills on the job, and complete relevant development activities that build your professional capability and set you up for a long-term career at Suncorp.

Consumer Insurance

As an Insurance graduate in our Consumer Insurance function, you will advocate for and contribute to initiatives to make our communities better protected such as road safety and home resilience.

Consumer Insurance is accountable for home and motor product, pricing, distribution channels including contact centres, the digital insurer program, digital channels, claims, customer strategy, brand and marketing and strategic partnerships.

Both our Motor & Home Prevention and Protection Portfolio teams alongside our passionate Claims teams are looking to develop Suncorp’s next generation of insurance professionals.

Commercial Insurance

Our teams manage and resolve commercial property, liability, workers compensation and CTP claims. They balance customer care, risk management and commercial outcomes while helping injured people, businesses and communities recover after unexpected events.

Graduate roles in this stream are typically supported to become future Underwriters or Claims Specialists. A Suncorp Underwriter helps businesses protect themselves from financial loss by assessing risk, determining appropriate insurance coverage and pricing, and working with brokers and customers to find the right insurance solutions. Our Claims Specialists manage a portfolio of commercial property claims and support our customers by helping them get back to focusing on their business after a loss, whilst providing exceptional service.
