We’re looking for a driven and personable Recruitment Consultant to join our Sydney Legal recruitment team. This is a warm, established desk with existing clients, longstanding relationships and a strong candidate database. There is plenty of work and opportunity to share, while still giving you the scope to develop your own client and candidate relationships and grow the desk.

You’ll be part of a 4-person Sydney Legal team, backed by a 35-person national Legal team, providing a strong network of clients, candidates, market knowledge and support.

About the Role

This role focuses on placing legal support professionals, including legal secretaries, paralegals, legal support officers, administrators and clerks, into law firms and in-house legal teams across Sydney.

You’ll be working with an established client base and candidate pool, while also having the opportunity to build new relationships and develop your own market.

In this role, you will:

- Source, screen and interview high-calibre candidates
- Manage vacancies and coordinate interviews
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future opportunities
- Develop and nurture long-term client and candidate relationships




- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business
- Network within the legal market and build your profile
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records

About You

We're open to a range of backgrounds. You may have:

- Recruitment experience, ideally within legal, support or professional services; or
- A background in legal support and a genuine interest in moving into recruitment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and organised approach
- Commercial awareness and the motivation to develop a successful desk
- A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to be part of a team
