Through culturally responsive, trauma-aware and healing-informed programs, Ginhar Miya works alongside communities to create opportunities that strengthen wellbeing, build capability and empower individuals, families and communities to thrive.

As a newly established organisation, Ginhar Miya is focused on building strong foundations, trusted relationships and sustainable pathways for long-term community impact. In this early stage, the organisation is actively developing its programs, partnerships and governance structures to ensure its work remains community-led, culturally grounded and responsive to emerging needs.

Our work is underpinned by Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing and is guided by the principles of community leadership, cultural integrity, collaboration and respect. We believe sustainable change is achieved by listening to community, working in genuine partnership and co-designing solutions that respond to local strengths, aspirations and priorities.

Ginhar Miya delivers a broad range of services across community wellbeing, education and training, leadership development, health and social emotional wellbeing, cultural healing, social inclusion and community capacity building. Through these programs, we aim to strengthen connections, create opportunities, reduce barriers and support stronger, healthier and more prosperous communities for current and future generations.
