Senior Associate & Summary

As a Senior Associate at PwC, you’ll bring your risk, controls and regulatory compliance experience to help clients understand, manage and monitor compliance obligations, based in Sydney / Gadigal. You’ll work with clients to assess project risks and controls, strengthen compliance solutions and keep pace with regulatory change.

What you’ll do:

- Work with clients to understand and address enterprise risk, the regulatory landscape and the client’s regulatory profile.

- Provide clients with risk and controls technical knowledge and sector-specific experience across Risk and Compliance services.

- Assist management in assessing project risks and controls to protect businesses, support strategic decision-making and enhance efficiency.

- Help clients improve and operate solutions to manage risk and monitor compliance.

- Stay informed on changes in the regulatory landscape to help clients maintain compliance.

- Risk and controls technical knowledge, with sector-specific experience.

- Ability to develop a holistic approach to risk that protects businesses, supports strategic decision-making and enhances efficiency.

- Experience improving and operating solutions to manage risk and monitor compliance.

- Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.

- Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.

- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet the firm’s or client’s expectations.

- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.

- Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.

- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.

- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points.

- Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.

- Experience working with organisations across regulated industries or complex control environments.

- Interest in regulatory change, enterprise risk and the broader trends shaping clients’ compliance obligations.
