Education and Social Participation | Little Collins Street (HQ) | Maximum Term - Part-time
- Part-Time (0.8 FTE) maximum term position to 30 June 2028,based at our Little Collins Street (HQ) office
- Annual salary is $100,790 + 12% super

About the role:
If successful, you will have significant input intothe development of partnerships and delivery of PVAW communityeducation and training projects with sector and communitystakeholders and agencies and promote fee for service offerings tocorporate and government clients. The Manager will also develop andimplement a consultation service, provide professional developmentsupport to Settlement,
Family Violence and other humanservices.
To be considered for this role, you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Extensive experience in community developmentand working with community organisations, program development,providing capacity building and skilled developmentsupport to community and sector and co-ordinating and managingcommunity forums and discussion groups; and Minimum of a Degreequalification in a relevant field (Community Development,Social Work, Education and Development)
- Comprehensive understanding of Gender EquityFrameworks and state and national plans underpinning the goalsto end violence against womenand the intersectional challenges of refugee, migrant andasylum seeker communities
- Comprehensiveknowledge of AMES Australia client groups and an extensiveunderstanding of issues faced by these clients
- Broadunderstanding of policies affecting AMES Australiaclients
- Ability to thinkstrategically and identify opportunities for the growth oforganisational services
- Goodcommunication skills to underpin liaison with organisationalmanagement and staff in order to develop and implement cross organisationalactivity
- Demonstratedanalysis,
problem solving skills and an entrepreneurialapproach to the development of innovative programs
- Experience in thedevelopment, implementation, evaluation and documentationofprograms designed to promote social and economic participation for CALDcommunities and in particular, those who are new arrivals toAustraliaStrong skills innetworking, stakeholder management and the ability to widenorganisational networks, partnerships andvisibility
- A strongalignment with the values of a business focused not for profitorganisation that primarily works with clients from culturally and linguisticallydiverse backgrounds
