What you'll be doing
Operate mobile cranes with complete proficiency and in compliance with all safety regulations
Perform pre-lift inspections and routine maintenance on cranes and associated equipment
Interpret load charts and schematics to determine safe lifting capacities
Rig loads, direct crane movements, and signal operators as a qualified Rigger or Dogman
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders
Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance, and safety paperwork
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
What we're looking for
Valid High Risk Work Licences for Crane Operation, Rigging and Dogging
Crane operator licences C1, C2, C6, and C0 would be desirable for this position
Substantial experience operating mobile cranes in a construction environment
Minimum of 1-2 years crane operating experience is required
Exceptional knowledge of crane operation, load calculations, and lifting procedures
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Commitment to safety and a cooperative, team-oriented approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Australian citizenship is required for this position
Experience across the full crane size range from 20T Franna's up to 220T Grove Cranes is preferred
Candidates must possess either HR or HC Heavy Vehicle Licence as the minimum requirement
Construction Induction White Card required for this position
