The Position
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Recruitment Officer to coordinate recruitment activities and deliver a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. This is a full time, temporary position for a period of up to 2 years.
In this role, you'll play a key part in attracting, engaging and onboarding talented people across a diverse range of occupations, while supporting best-practice recruitment processes and workforce initiatives.
Tasks and responsibilities
As Recruitment Officer, you'll coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process and work closely with hiring managers to deliver effective and compliant recruitment outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating recruitment activities from advertising through to offer, including the coordination of interviews, compliance checks and preparing employment documentation.
- Providing guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practice, policies and procedures.
- Delivering a positive and professional candidate experience through effective communication and relationship management.
- Assisting with preboarding and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for current employees.
- Ensuring recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation and policies.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of recruitment procedures, guidelines and frameworks.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, collaborative and passionate about delivering exceptional service. You will bring:
- Experience in recruitment, human resources or a related administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data.
- Confidence using HR systems, applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines.
