Receptionist & Customer Care Officer
Location: Rookwood, NSW
Contract: 6-Month Temporary Assignment
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Receptionist / Customer Care Officer to join a busy and supportive team on a 6-month contract.

This is an important front-line role where you will provide exceptional customer service and support to visitors, families, and community members. We are looking for someone with outstanding people skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Provide information regarding services and processes
- Manage reception duties, appointments, and administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience




- Support customers and visitors with empathy and understanding
- Handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

About You:

- Previous experience in reception, customer service, or administration
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- A positive, proactive, and supportive attitude
