About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales People to join our growing team as we expand our showroom later this year, at our Toowoomba QLD location. These are full-time positions where you will be the face of Steeline FNW, providing outstanding customer service and sales support to our valued customers.

As a Sales Person - Customer Service, you will play a vital role in creating positive shopping experiences, assisting customers with product selection, and driving sales through excellent service delivery. Your ability to connect with customers and understand their needs will be essential to your success in this role.

Key responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcome and valued throughout their visit
- Assist customers in locating products and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on their requirements
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, pricing, promotions and store policies to answer customer questions effectively
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Support stock management activities including shelving and organising merchandise
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised store setting
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives




- Participate in promotional activities and product launches as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in retail customer service or sales environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Strong sales ability with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers find the right products
- Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends as required
- Basic numeracy skills and proficiency with point of sale systems or willingness to learn
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate items
- A positive attitude, team player mentality and willingness to go the extra mile for customers
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Previous experience in the retail or consumer products sector is highly valued
