Role Description This is a Casual hybrid Sales Representative role based in West Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Sales

Representative will identify and pursue current business opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and maintain strong client relationships. Daily activities include visiting customers, responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, and presenting suitable chemical product solutions. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to coordinate orders, ensure accurate documentation, and support timely delivery.

Representative will also monitor market trends, provide feedback to leadership, and meet sales targets while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in sales or account management, preferably in chemicals, manufacturing, or related industrial sectors
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse customers
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including in-person client visits around Melbourne and remote follow-up activities
- Basic understanding of chemical products or willingness to learn technical product information and industry regulations
- Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, proposals, and deadlines
- Proficiency with CRM software and standard office productivity tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Relevant post-secondary education in business, science, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory
