Sales Representative – Inspections & Maintenance

Based in Canning Vale, we are one of Perth’s leading specialists in height safety solutions, providing professional inspection, maintenance and safety services to clients across a wide range of industries.

We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Inspections & Maintenance Department.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys developing new business, building strong customer relationships and working towards clear sales targets within an established and respected company.

About the Role

As the Sales Representative, you will work closely with our Service team to generate new business, develop existing customer relationships and contribute towards achieving the department’s sales targets and KPIs.

The position requires a proactive approach to business development, strong follow-up skills and the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, networking and other prospecting activities.

- Sales & Customer Development: Promote and sell our inspection and maintenance services to recent and existing customers by understanding their requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.

- Lead Follow-Up & Conversion: Proactively follow up warm leads, enquiries, previous customers and identified opportunities with the objective of converting them into sales.

- Pipeline Management:



Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline using our CRM system, recording customer interactions, opportunities, follow-ups and expected sales.

- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and ongoing service opportunities.

- Quoting & Closing Sales: Prepare and follow up quotations, respond to customer requirements, negotiate where appropriate and actively work towards closing opportunities.

- Sales Targets & KPIs: Take ownership of individual sales activity and performance targets, contributing towards the overall goals of the Inspections & Maintenance Department.

- Market Awareness: Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer requirements and provide relevant feedback to management.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of their sales pipeline.

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

- Previous sales or business development experience, preferably within the building, construction, maintenance, safety or related industries.

- Experience within the height safety industry would be highly regarded.

- A genuine commitment to customer service and the ability to develop strong professional relationships.

- Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.





- A self-motivated and results-focused approach, with the drive to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.

- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.

- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new CRM and business systems.

- The ability to understand and interpret engineering or construction drawings.

- Previous experience with quoting, estimating and costing.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and customer requirements.
