About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Melbourne, VIC (North/Northwest & others for successful candidate) on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the face of The Yoghurt Company - Vic, building and maintaining relationships with key accounts whilst driving sales growth across the region. You will play a crucial part in expanding our market presence and achieving our ambitious sales targets.

This position offers the opportunity to work independently whilst being supported by a cooperative team environment. Open to part-time for the suitable candidate if necessary

Key responsibilities

- Sell

- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities with potential retail and distribution partners

- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

- Present product offerings and negotiate sales agreements with prospective customers

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions,



and pipeline development

- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets and performance metrics

- Collaborate with your sales manager & director to develop promotional strategies and campaigns

- Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback

- Travel within the Melbourne region to visit clients and attend meetings as required (Occasional regional travel will include Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo & surrounding regions)

- Managing your own area with weekly plans of existing & new business opportunities

What we're looking for

- Exceptional planning and negotiation skills required, and reporting to sales manager in a timely manner
- A candidate with proven success in the independent channel, food service an added bonus

- Proven experience in a B2B sales role, ideally within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), dairy & frozen goods experience preferred, or retail sector

- Solid track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clients





- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions

- Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organisational and time management skills

- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Melbourne region (West, Northwest & country)

- Knowledge of the dairy or FMCG industry is highly advantageous

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
