Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the My Place Group's vehicle fleet and property portfolio. This is a broad and varied role for someone who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly, solving practical problems and building robust relationships with Consumers, staff and suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles and properties are safe, well maintained, fit for purpose and managed efficiently. You will also supervise a small support team, maintain accurate financial and operational records, and assist with front-of-house and administrative activities when required.

What you will do
- Managing the day-to-day operation and administration of the My Place Group vehicle fleet
- Co-ordinating vehicle procurement, allocation, registrations, servicing, repairs, modifications and disposals
- Negotiating pricing and commercial terms with vehicle dealers, repairers and other suppliers
- Monitoring vehicle condition, roadworthiness, availability, expenditure and replacement requirements
- Co-ordinating accident repairs, insurance documentation and vehicle-related infringements
- Overseeing properties owned, leased or occupied by the My Place Group
- Co-ordinating property inspections, preventative and reactive maintenance, repairs and minor works
- Liaising with Consumers, staff, property managers, strata managers, tradespeople and contractors
- Reviewing quotations and invoices and monitoring contractor performance
- Supporting property acquisitions, disposals, handovers and establishment activities
About you
You are a practical and proactive operator who can confidently manage competing priorities and follow matters through to completion. You combine strong attention to detail with sound commercial judgement and are comfortable working across operational, financial and administrative responsibilities.
Selection criteria
- Experience in fleet management, property or facilities management, asset management, or a comparable operational role
- Experience co-ordinating vehicle procurement, registrations, servicing, repairs and supplier relationships
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Experience co-ordinating property inspections, maintenance, contractors and repairs
- Practical bookkeeping or accounting administration experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including preparing reconciliations, analysing information, and producing clear reports
- Experience supervising, guiding or co-ordinating the work of other employees
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to travel to My Place properties and other locations as required
- The ability to obtain and maintain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation module; Quality, safety and you.
