General duties:

- assisting with potting machines, seeding machines, bagging machines, transplanting machines, grading machines, etc

- assisting with spray application

- cleaning

- general/labouring duties

- irrigation

- labelling, stacking and preparation of stock for sale

- mixing soil, container filling, container assembly

- moving plants

- order selection and assembly

- packing shelves

- packing plants and seedlings

- picking and grading

- potting

- spacing and moving plants

- transplanting

- unloading/receiving materials

- using towing and/or carry-all vehicles etc.

- watering and weeding

Key Selection Criteria

- Ability to take direction and complete tasks promptly

- Willingness to learn

- Ability to complete repetitive tasks with a positive outlook

- Ability to complete work that may be physically demanding

- Work indoors and outdoors (hot/cold weather)

- Use and care for tools and equipment

- Driver’s license (preferred)

- Horticultural qualification (If any)
