Mascot, Sydney | Full time | Monday to Friday | Day Shift

Join Victor Churchill, one of Australia's leading premium food brands, as a Sous Chef within our central production kitchen in Mascot.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and agile kitchen leader with experience in a fast-paced production or high-end culinary environment.

The role

- Support the leadership and daily operation of the production kitchen.
- Maintain exceptional standards across preparation, cooking, plating and packing.
- Ensure food safety requirements and records are completed in accordance with our Food Safety Programme.
- Support production planning, workflow and team performance.
- Work across multiple food disciplines including hot kitchen, charcuterie, ready meals, sauces, pastry and wet dishes.
- Help build a positive, accountable and high-performing kitchen culture.

About you

- Previous Sous Chef, Senior Chef or comparable leadership experience.




- Experience in a production kitchen or high-end restaurant is highly desirable.
- Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Able to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Hours & benefits

- Monday to Friday, approximately 6:00am to 3:30pm.
- Some overtime during peak periods, including Christmas and Easter.
- Predominantly weekday daytime hours.
