We are currently seeking a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team.

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Monitoring availability and selling the right rooms to guests at the correct price.

- Answering all incoming calls, managing enquiries, bookings, amendments, cancellations and no-shows via all communication channels.

- Quoting accurate rates to all market segments and knowing what to quote and when.

- Entering reservations and ensuring all details are added to the booking.

- Awareness of billing & accounts receivable responsibilities.

- Conducting checks on upcoming arrivals, follow up on any pending items.

- Managing Group Reservations .

- Knowledge of hotel layout, views, bedding and room facilities.

To be considered for this role you need to:





- Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate to Advance Level

- Professional telephone Etiquette

- Clear and strong interpersonal

- Solid communication skills and writing techniques (including the ability to formulate qualified emails)

- Eye for detail and highly accurate data entry skills

- Ability to work unsupervised or part of a team

- Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5 star hotel establishment would be an advantage

- Experience with PMS or similar would be an advantage

- Australian National Police Clearance, no more than 3 months old
