About the role
Reporting to the Director, the Bid Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the full tender and bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission. The role plays a key part in supporting business growth through strategic bid management, business development, and the preparation of high-quality submissions. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop competitive, compliant, and well-structured proposals, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the full tender and bid process from identification through to submission
Identify new business opportunities and support business development initiatives
Prepare, write, edit and submit high-quality tender proposals, EOIs and capability documents
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate bid inputs
Assess contract documentation and identify risks, obligations and key project requirements
Structure and setout returnable schedules in alignment with scoring criteria
Manage multiple bids simultaneously within strict timeframes
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
Drive continuous improvement across bid processes, documentation and marketing collateral
About you
Strong experience in bid coordination, tender preparation or business development within construction or a related industry
Minimum 3+ years' experience in bid and tender proposal management
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with attention to detail
Experience in reviewing contracts and understanding commercial risk
Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach
Willingness to learn and grow with the company's development
