About the role
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially-minded Retail Manager to lead daily operations at our Waterloo Corner location. You will be the driving force behind our stock strategy, supplier coordination, and team culture.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily store performance, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency
- Manage product range, monitor stock levels, and coordinate directly with seafood suppliers to ensure premium quality and availability
- Develop pricing strategies and sales initiatives; analyse data to monitor performance and maintain cost control
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise a professional team, fostering a high-performance environment
- Provide expert advice on seafood varieties, preparation, and storage to elevate the customer journey
- Maintain strict adherence to WHS regulations and food safety standards
About you
- Proven background in retail management (Seafood, Fresh Produce, or Grocery experience is highly regarded)
- Demonstrated expertise in stock control, purchasing, and sales monitoring
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage both supplier relationships and customer expectations
- Ability to thrive and remain organized in a fast-paced, fresh food environment
- Must be able to reliably commute to Waterloo Corner, SA

- Competitive Salary: $79,000 – $85,000 per year + Super (based on experience)
