Role Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated accountant to join our growing team at Craig Baker & Associates. This role has become available due to growth of the firm’s client base.

Craig

Baker & Associates is a long-established accounting practice located in Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast. This role is ideal for someone with approximately five years of public practice experience who is confident managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
- Client liaison and management of day-to-day queries
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work




- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ATO requirements
- Supporting team members and mentoring junior staff where required

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in public practice
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Xero and other accounting software
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- CA/CPA/IPA qualified or working towards completion (preferred)
