About the Role

Join the Model Activate and Analytics team within Pricing and Analytics, supporting pricing process design along with pricing outcomes across niche motor insurance product and portfolios as needed. You will use actuarial techniques, fundamental understanding of insurance lifecycle, modelling and business insight to recommend pricing solutions that meet customer and business expectations.

This role connects building new pricing engine, pricing analysis, optimisation, implementation and monitoring. You will work with product, portfolio and actuarial teams to improve profitability, process quality and decision making.

What You'll Do

- Support to build new pricing engine for niche motor insurance product
- Conduct pricing reviews using technical analysis, demand modelling, optimisation, implementation and monitoring
- Analyse portfolio trends, pricing performance and customer impacts to support informed business decisions
- Build clear recommendations that improve pricing outcomes, profitability and process quality
- Manage stakeholder requirements and provide timely updates on progress, risks and issues
- Prepare concise written analysis that explains findings, options and recommended actions
- Support a robust analytical team by sharing knowledge,



improving methods and exploring useful data tools

What You'll Bring

- At least 12 months of general insurance experience in pricing, actuarial, claims or portfolio management
- Practical knowledge of product, portfolio and insurance pricing concepts, ideally across motor or related products
- Experience using SAS, R, RShiny, Excel, relational databases or similar analytical tools
- Solid understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, trend analysis and predictive analytics
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, Spark, Redshift, Databricks, Bitbucket or Earnix Optimisation would be valued
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
