What You Will Do

- Architect & Deploy: Lead complex upgrades, migrations, and end-to-end client implementations, managing readiness, dependencies, and rollout progression.
- Incident Command: Lead major incident management for client-impacting events. Investigate trade execution and market data issues using logs, metrics, traces, and FIX/API message flows.
- Optimize & Automate: Evolve runbooks, monitoring, and change management. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through scripting, tooling, and process improvements.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Assess connectivity/integration requirements, provide top-tier SLA support, and translate complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and analytical coaching to junior engineers.

What You Bring

- 5 years of experience supporting production systems strictly within the financial markets/FinTech domain.
- Strong OS proficiency and networking expertise (including foundational TCP/IP).




- Proven experience with production systems and application monitoring (correlating metrics, logs, and traces to isolate issues).
- Direct experience leading technical client implementations and integrating vendor trading platforms.
- Ability to participate in on-call and occasional weekend coverage on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points For

- Deep understanding of the FIX protocol message lifecycles and session behavior.
- Hands-on MetaTrader 4/5 (MT4/MT5) application experience (server installation, administration, deployment).
- Working knowledge of SQL (PGSQL/MySQL) and basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerized application runtimes or streaming/message-oriented systems in production.
- Japanese language proficiency (advantageous for specific client coverage).
