Marian Centre is a 69-bed private voluntary hospital situated in Wembley in the medical precinct of Subiaco. Marian Centre has an established reputation for excellence in the delivery of a broad range of acute mental health services. Marian Centre offers a range of speciality and sub-specialities to meet the needs of our population.
We are currently seeking applications from experienced Clinical Mental Health nurses to join our private mental health team.
Mandatory qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum 3 years Mental Health experience is required
- Full registration with AHPRA
- Strong focus on patient centred nursing care
- Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice
- Demonstrated skills in leadership and team building
- Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in nursing
- Advanced Life Support Certification
- Focus on service improvement for delivery of excellent patient care and positive patient outcomes
- Promote safety, security and personal integrity in the workplace
- Knowledge of trauma informed care
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be and remain vaccinated against preventable diseases during their employment
Desired qualifications:
- Psychiatric endorsement, Certificate 4 in Frontline Management
- Qualifications in drug and alcohol related course
