About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Project Manager to join a State Government client delivering large-scale road network infrastructure across Sydney. This role will take ownership of civil project delivery, with a particular focus on safety barrier programs aimed at improving road safety outcomes across the network.

Working within a hybrid model, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex civil projects from design through to construction ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and stakeholder engagement throughout.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage civil projects and contracts across large-scale road network programs, including safety barrier initiatives to improve road safety across Sydney
- Deliver projects within agreed budget, schedule, quality and scope parameters, with regular progress reporting
- Prepare tender documentation, scope of work and key deliverables
- Lead the preparation and review of strategic, concept and detailed designs, cost estimates and project documentation for client approval
- Implement and maintain strategies, procedures and processes to achieve high standards of WHS, environmental management and quality




- Lead and oversee the administration and delivery of qualified services and construction contracts
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to ensure effective consultation across all project phases

Sydney | Hybrid working | 6-month contract (strong likelihood of extension)
$1,100 - $1,300 per day + super | State Government.

About You

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering (essential)
- PRINCE2, Six Sigma or Project Management qualification (desirable)
- At least 5 years experience as a Project Manager
- Proven experience delivering large-scale civil/road infrastructure projects, ideally within a government or public sector
- Strong contract administration and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project documentation
