The Prospect:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a major project team in Regional NSW .

This is a site-based role , initially supporting the Griffith Medlog Intermodal Terminal project , before transitioning to a further major project in the Wagga/Riverina region .

The successful candidate will be a seasoned commercial professional who can take ownership of the onsite commercial function, work closely with the project team and subcontractors, and actively challenge the team to identify cost savings and ensure the project is delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of the onsite commercial and contract administration function
- Manage variations, claims, extensions of time, subcontractor administration and commercial risk
- Partner closely with the Project Manager and delivery team to maintain cost control and project profitability
- Challenge construction methodologies, procurement and project costs to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor project performance against budget, forecasts and commercial objectives
- Manage client, consultant and subcontractor commercial relationships
- Ensure contractual obligations, notices and documentation are managed accurately and proactively




- Provide commercial insight and challenge to support delivery of projects within budget

About You: We are looking for a senior, commercially astute Contract Administrator who brings:

- 10+ years' experience in contract administration within civil construction/infrastructure
- Strong understanding of contracts, commercial risk, variations and claims
- Demonstrated experience managing the commercial performance of projects
- The confidence to challenge Project Managers, Engineers and delivery teams when required
- Strong cost management, forecasting and analytical capability
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach rather than a compliance-only mindset
- The ability to work autonomously in a site-based environment

A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
