About The Role The purpose of this role is to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic clinical services and leadership within Nutrition and Food Services to consumers of West Moreton Hospital and Health Services (WMHHS).
Duties are of a complex and varied nature and the majority are performed with a high level of independence.
About You
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise and skills in clinical practice.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams including internal and external and stakeholders regarding service delivery and improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide novel solutions to complex clinical problems through the adaptation or modification of established procedures
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate clinical and /or food service quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide nutrition and dietetic education, clinical leadership and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Dietitians and dietetic students.
Mandatory Requirements
- Appointment to this position requires proof of a recognised degree or equivalent in Nutrition and Dietetics and full membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential. Certified copies of relevant qualification must be provided to the service director prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be,
and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment as required by HED 01/16
