With a number of projects now moving into their early development phases, this is an opportunity to take genuine ownership from the outset and help shape their direction through feasibility, planning, design and ultimately delivery. The projects are approximately 150 apartments in scale and have a strong resident and community focus, creating the opportunity to work on meaningful residential projects where the quality of the end-user experience is central to the development outcome.

The role would suit an established Senior Development Manager, or an experienced Development Manager ready to step up, with the opportunity to take greater ownership across their projects.

The Role

- Take lead responsibility for residential projects from early feasibility and strategy through planning, design, construction and delivery
- Shape project strategy and development outcomes from the outset
- Drive planning pathways, approvals and consultant coordination
- Prepare and manage feasibilities, budgets, financial assessments and risk frameworks
- Oversee programme, cost, quality and commercial outcomes across the project lifecycle
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders and provide explicit reporting to senior leadership




- Take genuine ownership of projects and drive them forward through each stage of the development lifecycle

About You You’ll be an experienced development professional with a strong background in residential apartment projects and an established understanding of the South East Queensland development market. You’ll bring a solid grasp of the full development lifecycle, strong commercial capability and the confidence to take ownership of projects and drive them forward.

Experience across BTR, retirement living, PBSA or other residential sectors with an owned and operated model would be highly regarded.

- 8+ years’ experience in property development
- Strong local apartment development experience
- Commercially astute, with experience across feasibilities, budgets, programme and risk
- Confident managing consultants, authorities, stakeholders and project teams
- Hands-on, driven and comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and driving outcomes
- An experienced Development Manager ready to step up, or a Senior Development Manager looking for greater autonomy
