L&S; Fabrication is an established Australian manufacturing company based in Epping, VIC. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced CAD Draftsman to join our team and support our design and production operations.

Key responsibilities

- Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
- Design sheet metal parts and assemblies for fabrication
- Produce accurate flat patterns, bend details and production drawings
- Check dimensions, tolerances and specifications prior to manufacture
- Work closely with production to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Assist with product development and continuous design improvement

About you

- Thorough knowledge of SolidWorks is essential, particularly SolidWorks Sheet Metal
- Strong experience with sheet metal parts,



bends, flanges, flat patterns and assemblies
- Ability to produce accurate manufacturing and engineering drawings
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication, including laser cutting, bending and welding
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication workplace is highly regarded
