About the role

Paul Bram Diamonds is seeking a polished, client-focused Diamond Consultant to join our Melbourne showroom. This is an outstanding prospect for someone who enjoys luxury retail, appreciates fine jewellery and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, expert service. As a Diamond Consultant, you will guide clients through one of life's most meaningful purchases. You will provide first-class advice to clients selecting diamond engagement rings and fine diamond jewellery, helping them make informed decisions with confidence.

Key responsibilities

- Provide expert, personalised advice on diamonds, engagement rings and diamond jewellery.
- Build trusted relationships and create an exceptional client experience.
- Understand each client's preferences, occasion and budget.
- Clearly explain diamond characteristics, jewellery designs and available options.
- Manage client enquiries and follow up sales opportunities.
- Maintain the presentation and visual merchandising of the showroom.
- Assist with stock control, stock movements and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure jewellery is handled, displayed and stored with care.
- Contribute to showroom operations and team sales targets.

About you





You will be a confident and engaging communicator with a genuine commitment to exceptional service. You will also bring:

- Experience in luxury retail, jewellery, consultative sales or a similar client-facing role.
- A professional, polished and approachable manner.
- Robust attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to listen carefully and recommend solutions tailored to each client.
- Confidence working towards individual and team performance goals.
- Integrity, discretion and reliability.
- An interest in diamonds and fine jewellery.

Diamond or jewellery knowledge is highly regarded; however, candidates with strong luxury retail or consultative sales experience are also encouraged to apply.

What we offer

- A base salary of $85,000 (pro rata) plus superannuation.
- Performance-based annual salary increases.
- A full-time, 40-hour working week.
- Sunday and one weekday off each week.

Working hours

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, worked across five days between Monday and Saturday. Sunday and one rostered weekday are provided as days off each week. Saturday availability is essential.
